Celebrating 30 Yearssteph2a
On behalf of the entire ILSI family, we’d like to thank Stephanie Carter for 30 years of service.

Stephanie joined ILSI in October 1986 and provided support to the ILSI Risk Science Institute (RSI). She also took on “other duties as assigned,” which included helping to organize a global health event in Istanbul for the Micronutrient Forum, for which, at the time, ILSI acted as secretariat.

When programs within RSI were merged into a reorganized ILSI Research Foundation, Stephanie became involved with activities in nutrition and physical activity, as well as risk science. She acted as grants manager and coordinated TAKE10! training. She now serves as Senior Program and Conference Manager, a role in which she works closely with technical staff to ensure the foundation’s science events are successful.

“My greatest pleasure over the past 30 years comes from interacting with so many interesting people from around the world who are all working together to translate science into programs that have impact.”

We offer our warmest appreciation to Stephanie for her help in achieving ILSI’s mission. (You may send your own congratulations to Stephanie at scarter@ils.org.)
